The University of California, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) is seeking a Research and Extension Center Director and Academic Cooperative Extension Advisor to provide leadership to the Desert Research and Extension Center (DREC) located in El Centro, CA.  The successful candidate will conduct an extension education and applied research program to address critical issues facing agronomic or vegetable crop production. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required--although other advanced degrees are encouraged--in a discipline related to the production of vegetable and/or agronomic crops.  Salary will be in the Cooperative Extension Advisor series, commensurate with applicable experience and professional qualifications.
